INTERCASE® MANUFACTURED CASEWORK
Construction Details
Intercase® is a modular institutional-grade plastic laminate casework system. Designed to be no less than America’s leader in Plastic Laminate Casework construction quality (we welcome all challenges), Intercase® also offers an unprecedented and ever-expanding range of Design Options. Intercase is Certified by the Architectural Woodwork Institute.
An expanded user-friendly Design Guide with several exciting new design options is currently in development. In the meantime, please reference the Intercase® PDF Brochure found under the Download tab for standard construction details. Only, please bear in mind that this brochure illustrates our preferred standard. Hardware and Finish options abound. Intercase is designed to be architect-friendly.
Catalog
Intercase’s unique engineering lends itself to a broad range of configurations and size options unprecedented in Modular Casework. Our catalog, currently in development, will be a guide to common configurations rather than a limit to availability.
Common cabinet configurations, including those for special applications such as Handicap-accessible compatibility, may be viewed in the Architectural Woodwork Institute library of cabinet millwork designs; www.awi.net.
Specifying Casework
Intercase has a very exciting new Specifications and Options tool in development. When complete, it will offer a convenient and user-friendly outline for casework specs.
In the interim, please observe our suggested specification below. Only, please bear in mind that this brochure illustrates our preferred standard. Hardware and Finish options abound. Intercase is designed to be architect-friendly. Contact Action Outfitters to receive the Specification Sheet as a MS Word document.
Intercase® is ideal for LEED projects. Our 500-mile radius takes in many of the leading population centers in the Eastern United States.
Intercase is available in a range of specialty eco-friendly options, including no-formaldehyde-added panels. FSC certified woods, and ABS edgebands.
Solvent-free low-VOC adhesives are standard in all Intercase cabinets, a company policy enacted for the benefit of our cabinetmakers long before LEED became mainstream.
